Walton Geothermal Heating & Cooling was founded in 1997 by Mike Walton.

Mike holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Management and Technology from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor's Degree in HVACR Engineering Technology with certification in geothermal systems from Ferris State University. Possessing licenses as a mechanical, plumbing, and boiler contractor, Mike has 20 years of experience in the HVACR trade under his belt, including installing and servicing heat pumps. He is a proud member of the Michigan Geothermal Energy Association (MGEA), the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA), and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

Together with his brother, Steve Walton - a master electrician in residential and commercial electricity since 1985 - Walton Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical was formed to serve all of the customer's home improvement needs. Both Mike and Steve are WaterFurnace factory-trained and certified in geothermal ground loop installations and service.
